Rajini kanth the numero uno of Indian cinema and most sought out star in Asian cinema, may take one step forward into his political journey after his upcoming movie “lingaa”.
It was during recent general elections, Mr Narendra Modi personally met the star and requested his support to stregthen BJP in Tamil Nadu which was duly accepted by Rajini Kanth and helped BJP in getting much needed people appeal in Tamilnadu, which is very rare for BJP in a state where regional parties dominate.
Now, There are rave rumors running all over southern India that Rajinikanth will be joining BJP party and he will be the CM candidate for Tamil Nadu state’s assembly elections, which are going to be held in the year 2016.
But nothing been solid from the superstar regarding his political entry. when Thalaivar reached Mangalore International Airport en route to Shimoga for the climax shoot of Lingaa, he was questioned by a reporter about his entry to politics. Rajinikanth gave his trademark ‘If god wishes so, I will’ reply. The reporter retorted back with ‘What’s your wish?’ to which Superstar said, ‘God’s wish is my wish”.
