After scoring a good commercial hit in the form of Run Raja Run, hero Sharwanand has come up with a love story and he teamed up with Nithya Menon. Movie is directed by Kranthi Madhav.
Raja Ram (Sharwanand) is an aspiring athlete whose objective is to win Gold Medal in the National Athlete Championship. In the process he falls in love with a Muslim girl Nazeera(Nithya Menon) and both started liking each other. After winning the National Championship in Delhi, Sharwanand returns to Vizag and because of some unforeseen situations both get separated. After some years Nazeera’s daughter Mahek(Tejaswi Madivada) challenges her mother to test her true love. Whether Raja Ram still loves Nazeera? What happens after forms the rest of the story.
Malli Malli Idi Rani Roju plot is an old fashioned love story but dealt with good emotions. The lead pair shared a fantastic chemistry between them. The first half revolves around the ambitions of the hero and the love scenes between the lead pair. Second half deals with how true love will long even after ages. Films slow narration is the only drawback for the movie. Movie maintains an uniform pitch through out the story. Dialogues and Music are huge asset of the movie. Production values of the movie are very good. Overall movie is a good love story with human emotions but should have enough patience for its slow screenplay.
Sharwanand: He has once again proved that he can do any character with aplomb. He is a perfect fit as a determined guy and also as a lover. He has never gone overboard and excelled in his character.
Nithya Menon: She should be appreciated for doing two different roles, one as a cute lover and another as a mother. Her expressions are top notch in this movie.
Tejaswi: Though Tejaswi’s role is limited, her character is pivotal for the movie and Tejaswi has done her job well.
Pavithra Lokesh, Nassar, Sana and Chinna supported the main leads well.
Director Kranthi Madhav took the old theme but presented with good emotions and values. However he should have concentrated on the pace of the movie. Overall it’s a decent attempt.
Dialogues from Sai Madhav need to be appreciated. He has imbibed the story into his mind and has come up with such touching dialogues.
Music by Gopi Sundar is excellent. His background music is also very good.
Heart touching movie with a genuine attempt, one time watch.
