KS Ramarao lashed out at ‘I’ movie which is a tamil dubbed flick, producers of the film controlled the theatres resulting Ramarao to look for an alternative date to release his telugu film, he said “Today the Telugu Film Industry is facing many problems and it is a pity that I am unable to release my Telugu film due to the release of I, which is a Tamil film.”
He added that a producer who bought the rights of the Tamil film created hurdles for his Telugu film. He is referring to, N.V. Prasad, who is the producer of the Telugu version of I and is currently the President of the AP Film Chamber of Commerce.
“Sankranti is a big occasion for the Telugu audience. I wanted to release the film on this festival, but the theatres were occupied with the dubbed Tamil film,” says Rama Rao.
He says that his film is far better than the two films that were released during Sankranti. He is now looking for a good date to release the film and has plans for next week or the coming week. If the top producer is facing hurdles release his films, imagine the situation of new producers who want make some quality movies in limited budgets.
