Rating: 2/5Following a dud movie Ice Cream, Ram Gopal Varma presented Ice Cream 2, a horror movie, to the Telugu audience. This movie has J.D.Chakravarthy, Naveena, Tanikella Bharani, Jeeva in the lead roles and the whole movie revolves round them. Lets see how the Ice Cream is…

Vikas (Nandu), Baby (Naveena), Keshav(Dhanraj) are friends and goes to a haunted forest, Doddapeta, to shoot a short film. Once they land into the forest, they see odd things happening around them and they try to escape from the place. During this they get kidnapped by Sikka (JD Chakravarthy), a bank robber, and his gang.

Twist in the tale starts when the group starts getting killed one after the other. What is the mystery behind these deaths, any one survives from these attacks makes the movie.

To start with, Ice Cream 2 is a better movie compared to Ice Cream. Better movie doesn’t mean it has good story. At least Ice Cream 2 has a story and suspense which missed in the Ice Cream. Looks like Ram Gopal Varma decided to make Ice Cream 2 just to irritate the reviewers, who irritated him with the criticism on Ice Cream.

The first half of the movie doesn’t have anything except songs and the skin show. The bang at the interval keeps your hopes alive. Though the second half not up to the expectations, there is some content to watch at, as most of the thrill part happens here.

Cast Performance:
JD Chakravarthy entertained with his natural acting and connected well with his role. He is the only factor next to Naveena’s skin show to watch the movie.

Nandu, performed pretty well and attracted the attention of audience.

Naveena, sizzled with her beauty. She is hot.

Dhanraj, Jeeva, Tanikella Bharani played their part well

Technical department:
Ram Gopal Varma who is known for his placing of camera. The flow camera technology he used in Ice Cream is better than its second part. One thing to mention is back ground music, which suited well with this horror genre. Music raised the tense mood of the audience at many incidents in the second half. Cinematography is good.

Abrupt climax made the movie more worse. A simple voice over was provided as a climax to justify the whole drama. Last to mention is screenplay and direction, nothing much to discuss on this.
