Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya Telugu Movie Review

After the series of Big movies, from this week begins the fight among small movies. Dikkulu choodaku Ramayya with an unique concept and refreshing visuals made audience curious about the film. Ajay, Naga Shourya, Sana Khan and Indraja are the lead cast and MM Keeravani given music. Let’s see how Rajamouli’s long time associate, Thrikoti convinced audience with his concept.

Plot :

Gopala Krishna ( Ajay ) lives with his wife Bhavani ( Indraja) and the couple have two children Madhu ( Naga Shourya ) and another small kid. Gopala Krishna get married very early at the age of 17 and always regrets not doing a love marriage. Krishna flirts young girls and fell in love in love with Sameetha ( Sana Maqbool ). Madhu who was a shy guy meets Sameetha and he transforms himself into a very confident guy with the support of Sameetha and he also fell in love with her. Krishna impresses Sameetha and proposes her and she accepts his proposal.

The rest of the story is about what happened between the three of them.

The concept of Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya is unique as well as simple. The first half of the movie is engaging with good comedy scenes and dialogues. Scenes between Ajay and Brahmaji has come up well and the chemistry between Naga Shourya and Sana Maqbool is good. First 30 minutes of the second half are a bit dragged but the movie picks up towards the climax. Emotional scenes take the main lead in the second half. The plot becomes predictable in the second half.

Cast Peformances:

Ajay: The entire story of Dikkulu Choodaku Ramayya revolves around Ajay’s character and he carried it very well. After Ishq movie he has got good scope to perform and he will be pretty happy for the full length role he has got.

Naga Shourya: Naga Shourya’s performance in the first half will be similar to his earlier movie Oohalu Gusa Gusa Lade. He did well in the emotional scenes as well.

Sana Maqbool: Debutant Sana has got ample scope to perform in this movie and she fits well in the character.

Indraja: She has done a great job as a house wife and it’s a good comeback for her.

Technical Departments:

Though the concept of both Father and Son fell in love with the same girl looks simple but the director has handled the movie very well. He should have concentrated more in the second half.

M M Keeravani has given the music as per the requirement of the movie. Melody songs are good.

Unique concept should have handled better but overall a decent watch.
