Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu released the blue print on Information Technology (IT), Electronics and e-governance on Monday. On this occasion, he has assured an investment of Rs 50,000 crore in this sector that would fetch employment for four lakh people in the State by the end of 2020.
In the meeting, Chandrababu Naidu and Information Technology minister for the state Palle Raghunath Reddy said they plan to transform the state as innovation society of global repute. They both stressed the government’s vision to encourage at least one entrepreneur and one IT literate from each household. Palle Raghunath Reddy said the state government is aimed to setup 20 Electronic Manufacturing Clusters (EMCs) and 200 manufacturing units across Andhra Pradesh.
Andhra Pradesh government recognized the importance curriculum students learn during their academics and they are going to of revisit and improve the current curriculum of the various domains comes under IT and Electronics which will make the students to match with the needs of the industry. State government is forming a committee with technical education department to understand the global requirements of the industry and to recommend the necessary changes.
